Product Notes

Hi there! My name is Karla Mayfield I was born in Atlantic City NJ where I presently live with my husband and four children. As a hobby, I have been writing poems, short stories and songs since a young age. I write a variety of genres, but I did not realize how much fun it would be to write children/family songs, until one day, while my little five year old daughter was singing the alphabets, she suddenly stopped and asked me . . 'Mommy . . how old is the alphabet song?' After thinking for a moment I realized and said to her 'I guess it is really old . .let's write a new one. Seeing how most children respond to dance music, I decided to set this new version of the alphabet song to a today's catchy beat. My two daughters, Kiyerra and Karlarta enjoyed singing it so much because some parts of the song is also a fun challenge. As parents my husband and I was interested to know how other little children would respond, so we decided to test it. So now this song titled, Rock & Roll Alphabets was made available to parents, day cares, and pre-kindergarten classrooms. The response was overwhelming, parents and teachers said that the children enjoyed the song, and were actually learning the alphabets at a much faster pace. Many parents that took the music home said that their child wanted to hear the song over and over again! That made us happy because if children want to hear it repeatedly, they would definitely be learning!
