'Riverwalk and Other Songs' first released as a cassette album in 1992, was inspired by the success of the title song, written by Terri Roben for the first annual fund-raising 'Riverwalk' by the Girl Scouts in the Mohawk/Hudson River valley of upstate New York. 'Riverwalk' was such a hit among those who heard it, Terri was encouraged by all to put together a collection of nine of her original children's songs. It features the voices of six 1st-grade Brownies singing on the choruses, including Terri's daughter Caitlin, who also sang the solo in the beginning of the cut, 'Thank You For The Food'. In 2006, because of demand, Terri converted the album to CD form, and it continues to be a popular seller. Folksinger and Clearwater founder Pete Seeger ordered several copies, 'to spread up and down the Hudson River' and told Terri - 'You're a good songwriter - keep on!' Terri Roben sings and plays for all ages, teaching Music Together classes with newborns to five-year-olds and their caregivers, as well as playing at cafes, libraries, schools and festivals for children and adults. She plays guitar, banjo, mountain lap dulcimer, and ukulele.
