As tiny as a minute, tucked beneath your blanket warm, As perfect as an angel, in faith and face and form... SO LITTLE, SO LOVELY, SO LOVED an original lullaby Copyright 2006 Joan Scrivani (music/lyrics) After a stint in the music business, Joan spent many years as a successful childrenswear designer, where she took great delight in creating products that brought joy to little ones. Her love for babies is apparent in the heartfelt lyrics and inspired melodies of her lullabies. A published poet and writer, Joan is a two-time winner of the prestigious Phi Theta Kappa International Award for Musical Excellence. The first win was for 'A Mother's Masterpiece' a song inspired by the AIDS Quilt Project; the second 'They Call It Family', poignantly reflects the value of family in every day life. In addition to songwriting, Joan is a freelance writer and a devoted mother and grandmother, who tends her garden, enjoys artistic pursuits, and participates in altruistic endeavors, in particular, volunteer work with abused and neglected children. Heidi Lee (vocalist) is a former beauty pageant winner, who has performed at the United Nations, Trump Plaza and The World Yacht Club, as well as other top venues in the NY Metropolitan Area.
