Once Upon a Circus! Innn-tro-ducing a collection of 23 royalty-free background performance tracks where every day is a circus day! Arranged and produced to capture the vintage sounds of yesterday's big top, enjoy this music from another world as you cross this canvas threshold. Once Upon a Circus pays homage to another era when mechanical musical marvels like the band organ, carousel and calliope ruled the midway. Additional tracks feature the authentic sounds of the side show bally, accordion and orchestrated medleys. Church workers will notice a lovingly crafted fusion of traditional hymns with circus melodies - all composed and performed by virtuoso organist Michael Tyo. Use this music for clown routines, come-in & exit music, background ambiance, entrance/exit stingers, segues, skits - listen to the samples below, and you will imagine a score of other uses for each musical creation. About the Artists: Even though Michael Tyo was born without sight, he graduated magna cum laude from the Crane School of Music in 1983 and was a touring Concert Artist for Panasonic for many years. His studio is in Adams, NY where he produces commercial music for clients such as ABC and CBS. He continues to perform concerts and also serves as a church organist. Mike composed, arranged and performed all of this music, on-the-fly, while sitting at a Roland AT90 organ. Amazing to behold! This album was produced and mastered by Kerry Kistler who toured for many years as a full-time illusionist and performing chalk artist. As a past columnist for The Christian Conjurer magazine and author of several chalk art books, Kerry now publishes Chalk Illustrated, a quarterly journal for performing chalk artists. Kerry and his wife Jil currently live and perform together in the Springfield, MO area using chalk art, ventriloquism and clowning.
