We are Kidz Musiq Club! Kidz + music + education = Jazzing Up Learning! Kidz Musiq Club (Jazz for kids) was inspired by and created for kids. It is a mix of swing, blues, and Latin style songs from an amazing mom, dad and son trio. Written and produced by former Raelette, Renee Collins Georges, this independent music arts and education project introduces children (early infants to age 10) to acoustic music by combining concepts of learning, jazz and blues, improvisation, language and movement. You'll fall in love with the acoustics and catchy melodies of songs that promote learning and having fun through music. It is a fun and new way for kids to have fun with spelling, counting, Spanish, good eating habits and other educational principles through music. All of the songs are performed by kids (ages 6-10) with the collaborative efforts of Georges, her husband, trombonist DuPor Georges; their son, Alston, his group of friends, and Washington, D.C. area musicians: Nasar Abadey, (drums), DeAndre Shaifer (keyboards), Romier Mendez (bass), members of the Phoenix Band, Howard 'King Phish' Franklin and Carroll Dashiell III (drums), Amy K. Bormet (keyboards), Oliver Albertini (b) and YC Laws, II (flute).
