2 Little Beauty and the Beast II - Ginny Schilling
In the early 1970s, Ginny Schilling wrote a number of songs for a local children's theater group in southern California, performing a spoof of Beauty and the Beast. Years later she began to perform these same songs for her children and grandchildren. In the spring of 2006, Ginny realized that the songs would be so much more vibrant with the addition of a story line. Thus began the homespun story of Little Beauty and the Beast, with this CD as it's final product. Since Little Beauty's completion, Ginny's story of Little Beauty in word and song has delighted local children in her home state of Missouri and her adopted state of California. Your children will be delighted to with Ginny's imaginative plot and fairy tale setting. From the traditional beautiful maiden in distress, Little Beauty, to the unfortunate, but highly likeable King Stupida, her father, and all the residents of Kragen-Heffen-Zeiten-Hollen-Headen-Zipper-Britchen-Plotz, young and old will be drawn into all of the action and will revel in the happy ending of this truly age-old love story.
