Cindy Wilkinson is a long-time folk musician from Colorado. She has played across the country for festivals, schools, libraries, museums, and all kinds of events. Some of her favorites being the Old Greenwich Strawberry Festival and the 'Noon-Years EVE' event at the Denver Children's Museum. She is also in demand as a presenter at conferences for early childhood educators (NEAEYC, CAEYC, INA, UNK). With a degree in Early Childhood Education and years of training as a musician, Cindy blends educational experiences for children with great music. Her style fuses blues, bluegrass, opera, and ballads with fun songs for the kids. She follows a jumpin' theme for her CD's and provides kids with lots of opportunities for jumping and other movement. Cindy's CD Jumpin'Up to the Moon was selected as Colorado Parent Pick of the Month in August 2000. Her song 'Jumping Beans' was featured on the CD 'WHEEEEE' which was voted Denver Westword's Best Children's CD 2000. Cindy was also named 'Nanny of the Year' by the International Nanny Association in 1998.
