Chuck's special love is for kids, and although he has written many Gospel songs, that have been recorded by many different artists, his first love is for kids music. His first two kids albums were recorded by the Heritage Singers and have sold world wide. The trio has recorded an additional 3 albums for kids. Fun, happy tunes, and cute words stick with kids leaving a real impression of how God loves them and cares about their every need. The trio is composed of Chuck, his wife Dona and daughter Carla Dawn. They have been singing together since Carla was 4 years old, where she carried lead in the family quartet. Her older sister Dianne sang tenor, with Dona singing alto, and Chuck singing bass. Then when Dianne was 13 she contacted leukemia and was ill just 7 weeks before passing away. It is possible that this made Chuck's heart even softer toward children, and soon he began writing kids music to teach them Biblical lessons. He feels catchy tunes help plant truths about God and His ways in each little heart that listens. The trio's desire is to draw you closer to Him.
